Beginner
If this is your first time on a surfboard, or you’ve only tried a few times, you’re a beginner! Focus on learning the basics: paddling, popping up, balance, and catching small waves in a safe and fun environment.
Intermediate
You’re an intermediate surfer if you can stand up consistently and catch small to medium waves. At this level, you’ll start using hardboards to refine your technique, improve wave selection, and gain confidence on bigger or faster waves, all while having fun!
Advanced
You’re an advanced surfer if you’re confident on a shortboard, can ride medium to large waves, and perform maneuvers like cutbacks and bottom turns. This level focuses on performance, speed, and style, helping you push your skills to the next level in challenging surf conditions.
